Hello! I spent the last few days in Corvallis visiting my old friends there. The beginning of my fun started on the freeway on the way down, in Salem. I saw this flatbed truck and its load:

It had two tonka trucks on it! I thought it was very funny. I also think it's funny how many people would drive by it on the freeway and not notice...

Anyhow, in Corvallis I met up with Logan, who I knew from living in the dorms many a year ago. After travelling the world, Logan is a grad student at OSU now in the Geology department. He studies climate change from methane trapped in ice sheets. Logan and I went to Squirrel's, which was very cool. It hasn't changed at all!

The next day I worked at the university, which was cool. It was a perfect time to hang out there-- warm, pretty, and not many students because school hasn't started yet. After work I went over to Wayne and Tracey's house, and hung out with them and their new baby Owen. He's very cute, of course! I stayed over until yesterday and had a very nice visit with them.

So that's the story about my trip to Corvallis. I enjoyed it very much. I hope you all are having a good weekend!

Let me get this straight, you were in Corvallis and DID NOT see Lucas and I? Sad day!
