So, the weather here is entirely confused about what season it actually is. It's been raining all day! It's really not nice out, and downright dreary.

In other news, today was dog washing day! He's been getting really smelly lately. The other thing that happens is that his beds (there are two) and blanket get smelly, and then they all just make each other smellier. That, and he got some brown gooey substance on his neck yesterday. Gross dude. So we washed the covers of the beds, and the blanket, and then I washed him in the rain. He was not happy about that, but that's the way of life. I wash myself every day, I don't see what he's so grumpy about.

The other day I was at the local store here, and I was shopping in the wine section. I bought one just because of its name: "Cat's Pee on a Gooseberry Bush". I told the store owner that I was buying it just because of its name, and he told me that that's exactly why he ordered it... Anyhow, it's a sauvignon blanc from New Zealand, so that might not be too bad.

I've been really busy lately. Working and writing and measuring tiny snails and feeding the crabs and going to discussions, and then last night and this morning I was put on the rush to edit the newspaper, whose deadline was today at noon. We're going to go in a few minutes to hear another talk, too.

Anyhow, I thought I'd drop those little stories for you. Sorry, no new photos lately. We're planning on going on a boatride next week though, and I should have some from that day. They're also forecasting some sun.... Hope you're well!
