Last night was the latest dinner and a movie event. These happen about every 4-6 weeks, where someone hosts the group, and there is a theme with dinner and the movie. Last night was Mexican food and we watched The Three Amigos. Classic movie, it's so funny. Did you know that "El Guapo" translates to "The Ladies Man"? It's particularly fitting when he's dancing at his birthday party. I also just learned that the guy who played Jefe has been in all sorts of tv shows lately. So it was fun to watch the movie; I haven't seen the whole thing all the way through in a really long time. Following the movie, someone put on a surfing video, which was fun to watch as well. It described the development of big wave riding, including the beginning of the use of jetskis for faster towing and rescuing and then the use of short boards with bindings for their feet, which they decided might work after having gone snowboarding. They have some amazing footage of those waves and surfers.
