Spinning successful!! I went to spinning wheel class last night and learned how. I had been on the right track when I tried it at home before, but it turned out that the bobbin (the thing the yarn is winding on to) was set on there backwards and that was giving me major problems. Once the instructor fixed that up for me and adjusted the tension, I was able to figure out the spinning much more easily. I had had problems with the yarn overspinning and kinking up before it could get to the bobbin, so my goal last night was to just make sure I was getting it applied to the bobbin smoothly. By the end of the class, I was doing pretty well. I have one more class next week.

In other news, Max likes to watch the squirrel. He quivers his whole body at it, and drools snot on the window. I took a movie of some vigorous shaking the other day too, but for now you'll have to settle for a still:

So glad for you, Max, that even at your older age, you still have it in you...
